Science has always been my favourite domain, and I was a curious and competitive kid from quite a young age. The intricate and nuanced designs of the reality we live in used to fascinate me (and it still does!). I tried my best to gain as much knowledge about the living world as possible, and during the pursuit of knowledge, I was able to become the gold medallist in the National Science Olympiad test when I was 12 years old…and I never looked back! While doing my post-graduation in Biotechnology from the prestigious St. Xavier’s College in 2013, I cleared the NET (National Eligibility Test), securing an all-India rank of 10. I wanted to get into research after my post-graduation, specifically in the field of drug designing and inflammatory/infectious diseases. In order to gain experience and expertise in advanced laboratory techniques, I worked as a research scholar in various biomedical laboratories around the country for 4 years.
